Valorant aim practice maps & trainers

Valorant does not support downloadable workshop maps like some other shooters. This page collects the best in-game and external aim trainers, rewritten in plain language with setup steps you can follow before ranked.

Before you download anything

Stick to official clients (Valorant, Steam) or well-known community projects. Avoid executables from random forums. Custom range maps such as VRST load inside Valorant’s Practice Range via chat commands—they are not separate installers. Third-party trainers are fan-made and may break after patches; always verify links on the publisher’s site.

Aim practice options

Each card summarizes what the tool is for, who it helps, and where to get it. Descriptions are original summaries based on public documentation and community guides.

  • The Range (official)

    In-game · Free

Riot’s built-in practice space with a shooting gallery, moving bots, target boards at multiple distances, agent ability testing, and a parkour course. Best for daily warm-up and sensitivity tweaks without leaving the client.

    • Lobby → Practice → The Range
    • Shooting Range: Start (timed spawns) or Practice (10 respawning bots)
    • Press F3 to change speed, streak length, strafe/reset, armor, infinite ammo
    • Press F2 to swap agents; all agents unlocked here
  • VRSTGAMEPLAY custom range

    In-game command · Community

A player-made overhaul of the Practice Range with structured drills, static targets, and bot scenarios. Loads via a chat command while you are already inside the official range—no extra download.

    • Enter Practice Range and wait until you spawn in
    • Shift + Enter → type `/map vRST_Range` exactly (case-sensitive)
    • Press F1 in-map for drill menu when available
    • If the command fails after a patch, check the creator’s Discord for updates
  • Aimlabs

    Steam · Free

Popular standalone aim trainer with Valorant partnership content: recreated maps (Haven, Bind, Ascent, etc.), pro-designed tasks, analytics, and thousands of community scenarios for flicking, tracking, and micro-adjustments.

    • Install from Steam, match sensitivity to Valorant in settings
    • Training → Game-specific → VALORANT for official tasks
    • Try map drills: Haven Entry, Ascent Headshot, Wallpeek, Microflex
    • Pin favorite tasks for a 10–15 minute pre-ranked routine
  • Valorant Simulator (fan project)

    Windows download · itch.io

Lightweight offline trainer inspired by Valorant gunplay. Useful when you cannot launch the full game but still want recoil and flick practice with familiar weapons. Fan-made—not endorsed by Riot.

    • Download the zip from the author’s itch.io page
    • Extract and run locally; scan with your antivirus if unsure
    • Good for short sessions; does not replace in-game crosshair placement
  • Custom games on real maps

    In-game · Angles & clears

The Range cannot be loaded in custom lobbies, but you can walk live maps to rehearse common peek angles and head-height pre-aim. Community workarounds (e.g., Yoru clone/teleport in private customs) help repeat a peek—no placeable bots yet.

    • Play → Custom Game → pick map → enable Cheat Mode / Ghost for solo runs
    • Walk default plant sites and mark head-level corners to clear
    • Pair with Aimlabs map tasks for angle-specific muscle memory

How to use aim trainers effectively

A simple routine that works for most ranks: warm up aim mechanics, then practice real map angles, then play one deathmatch or unrated before ranked.

15-minute warm-up template

  1. 5 min — The Range (F3: Medium, Strafe on)

Use Start mode for fast flicks to the head, then Practice mode for tracking strafing bots. Adjust sensitivity with the +/- boards if shots feel inconsistent.

  2. 5 min — VRST or Aimlabs Valorant task

Pick one drill (static targets, microflex, or Haven Entry). Repeat the same drill daily so progress is measurable.

  3. 5 min — Custom map ghost walk

On the map you plan to play, slow-walk and pre-aim one site entry path. Say angles out loud so crosshair height stays disciplined.

Training tips

  • Keep crosshair at head height even when not shooting—most deaths are placement errors, not raw flick speed.
  • One sensitivity change per week max; log eDPI (DPI × in-game sens) in a notes app.
  • Stop when accuracy drops; tired aim training builds bad habits.
  • Combine range bots (mechanics) with map tasks (game sense)—neither alone replaces ranked experience.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download a Valorant aim map file like CS workshop maps?
No official workshop exists. Practice happens in The Range, via chat-loaded community ranges like VRST, or in external trainers such as Aimlabs.
Why does `/map vRST_Range` do nothing?
You must be inside the live Practice Range match, not the lobby. Check spelling and case. After major patches the command may change—verify with the creator’s community channels.
Is Aimlabs sensitivity 1:1 with Valorant?
Aimlabs provides Valorant-specific conversion in settings. Re-verify after any sens change by testing the same flick distance in both apps.
Are fan trainers allowed?
Offline trainers that do not interact with Valorant’s anti-cheat are generally separate programs—but always read Riot’s Terms of Service and never use tools that modify the live game.
